Students in the Microsoft classes will be prepared for the Microsoft Office Specialist exams by a Microsoft Office 2003 Master Instructor. WEST is an authorized testing centre for these exams. |

GCFLearnFree.org offers free, beginning computer courses and other learning opportunities world-wide in English and Spanish. These tutorials enhance our own computer instruction and allow students to learn the pre-requisite computer skills required before taking the Microsoft Office course. WEST, through a partnership with Strategic Solutions Consortium in association with International Charity Association Network(iCAN),is a provider of computer training for women who desire to improve their digital literacy. Instruction is given in our computer labs and can be continued at home if the the student has Internet access. Students can prepare for the IC3 exam (Internet and Computing Core Certification) and testing is done at WEST. To participate in this program, please consult with your WEST Job Developer. |
