Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC)
LINC is a language training program funded by the Government of Canada through the Department of Citizenship and Immigration.
We provide language instruction to adult immigrants so that they may acquire the necessary language skills to integrate into Canadian society.
Eligible clients are adult women, 18 years of age and over, who are Landed Immigrants or Convention Refugees. An assessment interview confirms client eligibility and determines the current language proficiency of adult immigrant women, matching their needs with the appropriate language training options.
The
LINC Program consists of a number of instruction levels (1 to 7), full-time or part-time.
We also provide transportation and child minding assistance.
