The " Right on the Money" Financial Literacy and Goal-setting Program is funded by Prospect Canada (formerly) SEDI/TD provides an opportunity for newcomer women to attain support and training needed to become wise consumers, financially secure, and to make good decisions when faced with financial stress.

Through a series of workshops, the program aims to enable newcomer women with the knowledge, skills, and confidence by providing training in the following areas:
  • Banking in Canada
  • Credit and Debt
  • Risk Management
  • Buying Goods and Services
  • Making Good Financial Decisions
  • Financial Security
  • Managing Finances
  • Savings & Investments


Program Eligibility: Newcomer Women, low-income women
