"Each year Canada welcomes new immigrants into our country and into our communities. Our role is to assist these women and their families as they settle into their new lives in Canada, and specifically to aid in their transition into their local community of Windsor and Essex County. Our programs are vast as well as being diverse as they are geared toward helping women establish their role in our community's workforce, ultimately giving them their own sense of identity as well as the feeling that they truly belong in their new home."

All services are at No-Cost : Under Orientation, Language and Skills Program:

Aimed at supporting newcomers to live independently within the community.
 
These services include:
  • Newcomer orientation
  • One-on-one counseling
  • Settlement workshops
  • Social and recreational activities
Settlement Services:
Support immigrant women and their families throughout the various stages of their settlement. We understand the challenges of adjusting to a new language, a new culture and new surroundings. That's why we work closely with you and your family to help you become more comfortable in your new life.

Our Settlement Services will help you:
  • Learn about your city and community
  • Acquire English skills
  • Begin your job search
  • Secure your first professional job
  • Find affordable housing
  • Locate the right school for your children
  • Access important community resources
  • Develop a network of friends
Our goal is to offer you the resources, guidance and assistance you will need to ensure your transition into your new life in Canada is the wonderful experience it should be.
