Funded by the Government of Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Employment and Infrastructure, Youth Skills Connection program,  WEST partnered with St. Clair College and Drive Logistics to offer training to women between the age of 19 - 29  years old in transportation, logistics and supply chain management.   The program trains young women for careers in inventory, warehousing, and material movement, and transportation operations.  This 15-week program is offered from Wednesday - Saturday. Courses are taught by industry experts and include: Computer Applications, Business Communication, Introduction to Supply Chain Management, Logistics & Transportation, Dispatching & Transportation Operations, Customer Relations and Interpersonal Skills in Organizations, Resume/Interview Preparation,  and certification in Forklift and First Aid/CPR. This is followed by a 6-week work placement in the industry.
