Rose Anguiano-Hurst - Executive Director

Rose Anguiano Hurst is the Executive Director of Women's Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor Inc. (WEST) where she leads a team of  50 staff. Rose has served in the capacity of Executive Director at WEST since 1995. During this time, the organization has grown to serve more than 2000 women annually. Rose possesses an extensive professional knowledge and background in all aspects of non-profit program management and administration which she strengthened at WEST and previously in similar organizations. 

Her greatest satisfaction at work is witnessing participants' confidence flourish as they attain skills and find jobs where they can make enhanced contributions in society for themselves and their families. Rose is grateful to have the support of a committed board of directors and professional staff who work together to ensure the goals of the organization and the employment needs of women in our community are being addressed.
Georgia Graham - Programs Manager

Georgia joined WEST as a Job Developer in 2003 and has been working as Programs Manager since 2005. In this role, she supervises and coordinates WEST's employment-based counseling and training and support services programs, which are serving over 1300 women and their families each year. Georgia also contributes to strategic and operational planning, helping to ensure that the organization fulfills its mandate, goals and objectives. In her work at WEST, she has partnered with various institutions, such as University of Windsor, St. Clair College, and CMA Ontario, to provide needed services for newcomer women. For two years prior to that, Georgia had worked as the Director of a treatment facility for teens in Toronto that provided social, educational, leadership-building, and counselling for youth. Georgia had also served as a Case Manager at a correctional centre for young offenders in the Toronto area.

Georgia has received her BA from York University and Masters Degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Policy Studies at Ryerson, focusing on impact of immigration policies on newcomer youth and their families.

Naheed Ahmed-Salman, Childminding Supervisor

Naheed Ahmed-Salman joined WEST in 2006 as the Childminding supervisor. She had previously been working as a Child care provider with the City of Windsor, Children's Services. She helped designed WEST's new Childminding Centre along with a Family Resource Centre, located inside the Childminding Centre. Naheed is passionate about children and feels that the WEST Childminding Centre is one the happiest places to be working in, right beside her team of dedicated childcare professionals.
