Participants will create professional calling cards for job fairs and other job search related purposes. Learn how to highlight your skills for a business card size space. During the workshop, participants will practice many aspects of Microsoft Word, such as creating labels, using tables, inserting graphics, text boxes and arranging different elements. At the end of the workshop, participants have created at least one calling card that will be saved for future use.

This workshop will introduce participants to Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2013. Participants will learn about the main features of PowerPoint, such as creating and editing professional-grade presentations, inserting pictures and adding animation effects.

• Apply different slide layouts and designs
• Apply slide transitions and custom animations to slides and objects
• Learn how to add sound and movies into a presentation (i.e. YouTube videos).
